End of 2023 Thanksgiving Service
Theme: “I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving” Psalm 69:30B
I welcome all precious daughters of Zion and everyone present to the gathering of the year 2023 thanksgiving. This is a season where we gather as prophetic intercessors of the nation to show our sincere gratitude to the Almighty God for His goodness and mercies He has bestowed towards our nation as a whole from the beginning of the year till the end.
Ghana, I say peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces. “Praise” and “Thanksgiving” are two powerful tools that King David saw in Psalm 69:30b. These tools unlock and bring a great turn around in the fate of nations, churches, ministries and families.
Most of the time we focus on the things we go through or the circumstances surrounding us and it becomes difficult for us to “praise” and give thanks to the Almighty God. The Lord God magnifies his name and the nation when we offer thanksgiving and praise to him. We are believing and trusting God to intervene in so many areas of our lives and our nation.
I want to urge everyone that this is the time of the Holy Spirit therefore we must come before God with sincere hearts and cry our hearts out to God in prayer so that we can see the manifestation of His promises for our dear nation. We as intercessors must have insights on how to pray and seek the face of God.
In Psalm 100:4 says “Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise. The moment we start to express our gratitude to God for all the things we have been through in the whole year, the gates of the Lord is opened for us. This means God Almighty gives us divine success to come to him just as we are knowing that the covenant of the blood of Jesus is still speaking for us.
And we can come boldly to the throne of his grace to receive mercy for the nation. It is also important to praise Him because when we praise as intercessors, the Lord Almighty name is magnified and He brings bountiful blessings upon the land. In the coming year, I want to encourage each and every one to have a sober reflection of the past year and seek the face of God and walk closely with God.
We must all be the examples of the Bible we read demonstrating the nature of Christ and character of Christ and contribute in our respective ways to the development and growth of the country. This morning I came to make declarations upon the land of Ghana. I declare and decree that because we came to offer “PRAISE” and “THANKSGIVING” may the Head of every ancient gate and door be lifted and let the commander of heaven’s army enter, the great King of “Glory. Great in battle and let Him establish the will and counsel of God over Ghana.
May the Sovereignty of God be established in Ghana and may He rule and reign over the land. We have been pressed on every side, persecuted but not abandoned, cast down but not destroyed, I declare that in the midst of all may the name of the Lord be magnified on the land of Ghana.
May the covenant of the blood of Jesus speak for the land, may the blessings of the Heaven’s and the Earth rest upon the land in Jesus name.
Long Live AGLOW! Long Live Ghana!!
